Enjoy Tees Valley actively promotes the Tees Valley in through marketing campaigns at key times of the year to support the visitor economy. These will be linked to the Destination Management Plan 2021-2026 and are focused on three primary and three secondary audiences.  

The focus is on the domestic market where there is significantly more growth potential and where return on marketing investment will be greater. Targeting will concentrate on two-hour travel time for staying visits, and day visits from within an hour’s travel, including those holidaying in North Yorkshire and County Durham. Air links from Teesside Airport to a range of UK cities provides an opportunity to draw visits from further afield.
