We are the official destination marketing organisation for the Tees Valley and its dedicated tourism service led by the Tees Valley Mayor and Combined Authority.
We work to raise the profile of the region externally to help boost the visitor economy by increasing the number of tourists to the area, particularly targeting overnight stays. We are also responsible for ensuring residents experience the best of their communities by promoting its attractions, events, festivals and hospitality businesses.
This is all done to drive forward the Tees Valley Combined Authority’s wider strategic aims of economic growth and job creation. In doing this, we bring together industry representatives and other stakeholders so they may support plans for the marketing and sustainability ambitions of the region.
We provide support to the creative and cultural sector with the aim to establish and accelerate a creative cluster in the region. We aim to galvanise a critical mass of creative talent, ideas and enterprise necessary for impactful growth of the creative economy and visible and sustainable benefits for communities and place.
We are focusing our attention on sustainable sector growth, festivals and events, product development and profile raising. We do this through a range of support, interventions, and investments.
